Thailand Host Helen has just returned from Bali after doing a Breath work course. This blog shares something that’s been evolving for a while now at BeFitreat and in both Helen’s profesional work and personal world. Read on to hear about Helen’s experience and what it means for BeFitreat guests!
For over four years, BeFitreat has been running body transformation programs, and the results have been incredible. Watching people grow stronger, more confident, and more connected to themselves through fitness has brought me so much joy. It’s truly been a privilege to witness.
But over time, something shifted.
More and more guests began arriving not just for physical transformation, but using words like “reset” and “stress” to describe why they were there. And it made me pause.
While exercise is powerful, it burns off excess adrenaline, releases endorphins, and gives your mind a break, it’s important to understand what it actually does… and what it doesn’t.
Exercise can feel like a reset.
But often, it’s a release.
And there’s a difference.
Exercise vs Breathwork
- Exercise helps you release stress ➡️Breathwork helps you stop living in it
- Exercise clears stress in the moment ➡️Breathwork changes your baseline
- Training moves stress out of the body ➡️Breathwork changes how much stress you take on in the first place
This distinction has become impossible for me to ignore.
Because if we’re constantly needing to burn off stress, rather than changing how our body holds and responds to it, we stay stuck in a cycle, pushing, releasing, and repeating.
And that’s where breathwork comes in.

What My Journey Has Taught Me
Through my own journey, I’ve experienced just how powerful it can be. Not just as a tool for relaxation, but as a way to retrain the nervous system, build resilience, and create a deeper, more sustainable sense of calm.
That’s why I’ve taken the step to fully train in breathwork.
Because I genuinely believe this is what so many people are missing, not another workout, but a way to feel safe, regulated, and grounded in their own body.
So if you’ve been craving a real reset, not just a break, but a shift, I’m here, and I’m ready to share this with you.
