Training & Workouts

The Body Transformation Package is designed to focus on you as an individual and is structured so that the personal training and workouts reflect the goal you wish to achieve with a high quality standard of care throughout.

We assign you with an internationally qualified Coach who will contact you before you arrive to discuss your current lifestyle, health and nutrition. Your Coach is there to support you, educate you, empower you and together you will take the steps towards reaching your goals. We work with all levels of fitness and our guests are from all over the world.

Your package includes 2 personal training sessions per week in a fully equipped gym and group fitness classes at our partner gym, Tiger Muay Thai. The fitness classes can be discussed with your coach so you can design a unique schedule together. Click on the timetable below to see how your week could look.

As this is a transformation journey, in addition to your personal training, you will have weekly check-ins where your progress is tracked and your program adjusted if necessary. No matter which duration you choose, you will feel and notice results if you are consistent with the method.

Fitness Classes

Enhance your fitness and get stronger through a series of body weight and equipment exercises. Includes Strength & Conditioning, HIIT, AMBUSH 360, Buddha Run, Cross Training, Beach Bootcamp, and more.

Muay Thai

Versatile, challenging and fun, Muay Thai is an excellent way to get into great shape, improve your coordination, build endurance and learn valuable skills. Both 1-on-1 lessons and group classes are available.

Western Boxing & Martial Arts

This is a great opportunity to learn a variety of martial arts at one of the best camps out there. Incorporate different styles, positions, and techniques from BJJ, Kickboxing, Krabi Krabong, MMA, and Western Boxing.

Weight Room

The room is air-conditioned and comes equipped with a diverse set of amenities, including olympic barbells,(bench, squats, cleans, dead-lifts, etc.) dumbbells, squat racks, smith machine, cardio area, and a number of full body machines.

Personal Training

Every week, you’ll get two personal training sessions with a world class coach who will help you achieve the results you’re looking for.

1-on-1 With A Nutrition Specialist

Get a full nutritional assessment from one of our certified nutritionists who will also help put together your meal plan. Every week, they will check-in to make sure you’re on track to hit your health and fitness goals.

This is the full “BeFitreat – Thailand Body Transformation” schedule for the week. We recommend choosing 2-3 sessions – ranging from less intense to high intense. Your personal coach will assist you in choosing a well-balanced schedule for each week.

This is just an example of what your training week could look like. It is often very different after you have spoken to your coach/host and depending on your level of fitness.

*Included in the package. If you want to choose a different activity please ask your host. The Beach Workout and Buddha Run at Tiger Muay Thai will not take place between 15th June – 2nd October 2023 due to rainy season. However, BeFitreat will run these sessions if there is enough interest within our Community and if the weather allows.

**Note, these timings are an example only. Sessions will be scheduled directly with your Personal Trainer.

BodyFit

A high intensity class aimed to keep your heart rate in the fat burning zone through a mixture of body-weight and equipment exercised.

Big Buddha Run

This is a 4km (2.5 mile) run/walk from the base of the hill, up to the Big Buddha, one of Phuket’s most important landmarks.  It’s a fantastic community experience, for all levels, although be prepared to challenge yourself.

Beach Workout

A fun workout on beautiful Nai Harn Beach.  Be prepared to get wet and sandy with a smile on your face.  Beach workouts challenge different muscles due to the unlevel surface.

CORE Express Class

30 minute class focusing purely on core exercises.  A great class to add into your schedule.

Strength & Conditioning

This high intensity class is available to everyone but more tailored to those with more advanced training experience.  Using methods to increase strength, speed, power and endurance to prepare participants for the physical demands of combat sports.

Glutes & Hip Strength

Build lower body muscle and strength with this weight and resistance band workout.  Activate and engage your lower body muscle groups to build a solid foundation.

Cross Training

Perfect for those wanting to improve their overall health and performance through a structured overall plan.  No prior experience necessary.  Strength, stamina, speed, balance and flexibility will improve with consistency of the program.

Yoga

An invigorating way to begin your day.  Focusing on Hatha and Vinyasa Power Yoga, the classes are suitable for all levels regardless of fitness or flexibility.

Meditation

We encourage our guests to begin their day with some quiet self guided meditation.  Our team will provide weekly inspiration and tools.  Meditation stills the mind and helps you stay in the present moment.

Ton Mai Spa

A chance to relax and unwind with your BeFitreat Community.  Thai Massage, Sauna and Ice Bath available within a Traditional Thai Spa environment. *Option to add on treatments at own cost.

Workshop

Our team of experts will take you through some interactive workshops covering nutrition, training fundamentals, hormone health and other fitness and wellness topics.  Details will be announced each week.

Muay Thai (Private)

2 x 1-1 sessions are included as part of your package.  Working with an experienced Thai Muay Thai Coach you can focus on learning new skills and combinations, having fun and improving your cardiovascular system.

Muay Thai (Group)

Beginner, Intermediate and Advance Sessions which include padwork, bagwork and conditioning drills to develop the fitness required for Muay Thai.  Sparring sessions are available and are controlled and supervised by the trainers.

Boxing

Every aspect of western style boxing technique is covered including footwork, head movement, punching mechanics, combinations.  Training methods include shadow boxing, sparring, mitt work, bag work and combination drills.  All levels welcome.

Wildcard

A great class to start your weekend off.  This class will be taken by one of the familiar coaches and it is a surprise format each week.  Usually circuit style.

Strongman

Focussing on absolute strength and power using functional movements such as push/pull/press/carry and static holds.  Moving heavy objects, the goal is to become stronger overall.

During Your Stay

Nestled in a beautiful tropical cocoon, this boutique resort is perfectly equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay during your fitness retreat.

Whether you want to take a cooling dip or swim between sessions we have two pools that are perfect for your rest and recovery between sessions. If you would like a bit of reading time bring your book out to one of our relaxing pods surrounded by the sound of nature’s birds and palm trees and you will surely get the most out of your down time.

Our resort consistently receives an overall rating of 9.5/10 so we are confident that your downtime will be enjoyed to the fullest.

Each room and villa is furnished with an air-conditioned bedroom, living room, and a luxury mattress with more comfort than any other bed in the area. You also have access to a hot water shower, storage pantry, refrigerator, cable TV, wireless internet connection, safety box, coffee & tea making facilities and a private balcony.

There’s also the perfect co-working space if you’re looking to get on with work whilst enjoying your fitness journey, as well as several quiet areas to sit and work with your laptop. We even have a board room for groups coming on a work retreat. It is private and free of charge for you to use at your convenience during your stay.

Nutrition is a key element to any body transformation journey and we understand it needs to be varied and tasty too. Our method is a healthy and balanced approach, ensuring that your body has the right macros and nutrients to fuel your training as well as support your goal. The aim is for your results to be long lasting as well as for you to enjoy the food.

Pre-arrival, your personal coach will discuss with you your current lifestyle and nutrition, finding out about what has worked for you in the past and what has not worked. We take into consideration your likes, dislikes and your food preferences to create an individual meal plan which includes 3 meals per day a snack and a protein shake (six days per week).

We partner with Pure Prep, a specialised meal prep company who have an extensive menu covering all dietary requirements. The food is freshly prepared and served in a clean, friendly environment where you can eat your individual meals with the BeFitreat Community. If you wish you can take the food back to your accommodation and eat there also.

This package includes weekly check-ins with a specific focus on your nutrition and the results you are seeing so far. If there is anything you or your coach feels is not working or you wish to change some options, these weekly meetings are purposely incorporated into your program for this. We also love to empower you to choose healthy balanced food options yourself when you return home and our team is always available for advice and guidance.

Thailand Fitness is open all year long! All our retreats have a Sunday start date (training begins Monday morning.) If you would like to arrive before/after Sunday, you can do so by adding ‘extra nights’ in the add-on category. You can choose to stay from a minimum of14 nights to as long as 12 weeks.

What Happens After You Book?

On receipt of your booking you will receive an email confirmation from our booking system. Our Thailand Country Manager will also reach out to you directly within a week of your booking to introduce herself, discuss your program and answer any queries.

Two weeks ahead of your arrival you will receive an email with information on what to prepare before your departure. The email will also introduce you to your host and your personal trainer.

One week ahead of your arrival. You will be contacted by your host and your personal trainer. Your host will provide you with information on your induction and your trainer will provide the full assessment for your program.

48 hours ahead of your arrival. You will be added to the BeFitreat Guest Whatsapp Group where you can connect with fellow Retreaters.

24 hours ahead of your arrival. You will receive a Whatsapp with details of what to do on arrival to Phuket.

On arrival your host will meet with you and give you a full induction of what to expect for the week. Your personal trainer will have also arranged a time for meeting.

    How much weight will I lose?

    Results will vary, depending on a variety of factors. However, those who stay longer tend to see better results. If you follow your nutritionists’ guidance as well as the meal plans provided and stay true to your workout routine, you are guaranteed the optimum amount of weight in that period.

    Do I need workout/fitness experience to join a BeFitreat?

    No. Even if you have never entered a gym or joined a fitness class, we have a wide selection of beginner workouts and activities that match your comfort level.

    What meals are included with this package?

    We have partnered with Pure Prep, one of the best meal plan companies in Thailand, to bring you 3 meals everyday, along with a snack and a shake. Your nutritionist will help you prepare your plan based on your goals, and you can choose to eat your meals at the restaurant or get them delivered to your room.

    Can I come on my own?

    Yes! Most of the guests are solo travelers. From years of running these retreats, we have found the most growth happens when you arrive on your own.

    Which airport shall I fly to and how do I get from the airport to the hotel?

    Phuket International Airport is the airport to land in for all our Thailand-based retreats. Pick up is included in this package and will bring you to the hotel. A driver will have a sign with your name on it at your time of arrival.

    What’s the weather like in Thailand?

    Weather in Thailand is tropical so there will be plenty of sunshine with occasional rain. The rainy Season is between July-August and the high season is October until May.

    Do I need a Visa?

    We ask our guests to check their visa requirements themselves.
